Favorite Anime Genres

I'm interested to know what everyone's favorite anime genres are since there are so many of them, ranging from romance and slice-of-life to action and adventure.

I enjoy sci-fi anime because it frequently transports me to dimensions and realities that are so dissimilar from our own. I like how imaginative and creative people can be when coming up with new technology, alien species, and other future ideas. It's like getting a sneak peek into an entirely different universe that doesn't actually exist.
