Windows is the most popular operating system and has been for decades now. Which version of Windows is your favorite of all time? I love XP and 7 the most. Heck I even think Windows 11 isn't bad, it's definitely better than 10 that's for sure. I remember using XP at school, I didn't have a computer at the time so that's the only time I would use this operating system. 7 was a huge upgrade to Vista in my eyes. I had too many issues with Vista on my HP Pavilion laptop I got after I graduated high school.

Windows XP will always be special.. I'd probably still run it if it wasn't so insecure compared with modern OS.

I really like Windows 10, not sure what your gripe with it could be since it's pretty similar to 7. I upgraded my Desktop to Windows 11, but don't really like it - I'll probably make a backup at some point and downgrade.

Windows XP was amazing.
I am currently running Windows 10 and it's kinda buggy in places.. my PC can't operate Windows 11.

What's Windows 11 like completely different to Windows 10?

Yes, the start menu is essentially removed completely. It's handled by a new 'lightweight' UI. The taskbar is also centrally aligned, akin to Mac OSX.

I had too many issues with Windows 10 on a few different machines. One one laptop, I had to factory reset it because a update didn't install properly. I have another computer that also didn't get properly updated, and now it can't even boot into Windows properly just like my other laptop. I don't want to factory reset this one, so I'm going to try and recover what I can off the hard drive or use a recovery tool. To be fair I think installing Linux would be better on that computer.

That seems fair now that you come to mention it, I have seen instances where updates on Windows 10 do fall over themselves and get stuck in some kind of loop. They're usually resolvable, but require some kind of manual intervention..
