Friday the 13th Series

I have watched them a couple times over now, and each time, I always feel like the enjoyment others have for them eludes me. It isn't that I absolutely despise them, I don't (except, maybe, 3). I even have somewhat of a fondness for them - the camp-ground aesthetic, the frivolousness nature of them all. However, as movies, the same way I would look at, say, Elm Street or Halloween, I feel like they more often feel like they pad their runtimes to feature length and struggle to find something to do with themselves.

I loved Betsy Palmer in the first film. She wasn't going to originally be in it.

Fun fact: Betsy Palmer was a regular panelist on I've Got a Secret from 1956 to the 1967 finale on CBS. The show itself lasted 15 years. True story.

Grew up with these films so yeah obviously a favorite. I like them all honestly, and prefer the original obviously. I liked the second one too don't get me wrong.

I'm honestly not a fan of this series, I just never got into the films. I do recall a episode of the tv series scaring the crap out of me when I was younger and it took me years to figure out what exact episode it was. I didn't even realize it was from the series, I thought it was a film. :V Here's the episode:
