It is quite a popular way to make money now. If you are decent at cooking, then you can supply lunch/ tiffin to nearby offices or even houses and earn money from cooked food. It is in trend as one of my female colleagues is earning like that.

I used to do that. I wasn't supplying to offices though. I would wake up early morning and make popular traditional dishes, they are the most liked in village. Around lunch hour I would put the food on serving dishes, head to an open area near the mall and set up my stall there. I always sold out my dishes. It was really good money. But then a few months down the line, 5 more ladies set up stalls in the same place and to attract customers they sold thier dishes at a lower price than mine. I ended up not selling much and I couldnt reduce my prices to be on the same level as them as that woud mean I make a massive loss. So I stopped.

That's also a good option to make money from something you like and it can pay really well and this is why we see many food stores now.
