I have seen people place big orders to get free delivery and while the order is delivered, they return the unwanted things and get free delivery. Although it's unethical and I don't use this to save money.

Like you have said, it is unethical to try something like that. If there is a delivery fee for a good you bought, you should be able to afford it.
