Watching 3D movies at the cinema is quite popular if you are able to afford the extra to see the 3D version of the movie you are watching but we also have the option now with some TVs to be able to watch in 3D as some TVs have a 3d function and usually come with 3D glasses.

THe smart TV I have at the moment has a 3D function and did come with glasses but we believe my ex took them when he left in spite of hoping I would contact him to get them back, I never did. This TV is now 9 years old and still works really well but I haven't used the 3D function in a while.

Have you ever watched movies at home in 3D?

Spy Kids 3D is one that I watched with my daughter at home. I can't remember if that's the one that had the 3D glasses on the cereal boxes or if I'm thinking of a different one? Anyone remember?

No and I probably never will. I remember when 3D television sets were a thing but ultimately didn't work out.

Unfortunately, Cameron was right. Many home 3D TVs used the active shutter system, requiring a pair of glasses that would essentially open and close rapidly in sync to produce the 3D image. It’s these glasses that required charging and made 3D a little bit more cumbersome in the home.
