So the birds seem to say perching on the highest point available to them and those are there in plenty here in our garden. I have seen them perched on the lightning arrester, on the fish tail palm trees and more. Here is one right on the top ofo the lightning arrester

We have our water tank pretty high and in the photo you see this bird right up there

Well they love the higher grounds don't they? I've got some around my house who love to sit on electric poles and wires. Good thing they don't get electrocuted!

Here they do that sometimes perching on live wire and they do get elelctrocuted. I have brought this to the notice of the concerned authority but they could not care less.
