Does anyone remember this controversial US reality show?

Kid Nation was a reality TV show that aired on CBS in 2007. The premise of the show was to take 40 children, between the ages of 8 and 15, and have them live in a deserted New Mexico town without any adult supervision for 40 days. The children were divided into four teams, each responsible for managing different aspects of the town, such as cooking, cleaning, and running businesses.

The show was controversial from the beginning, with many criticizing the concept of children being left unsupervised for such an extended period of time. Others questioned whether the children were being exploited for the sake of entertainment.

Throughout the show's run, the children faced a variety of challenges, including food shortages, disagreements over leadership, and conflict with neighboring teams. The show also featured a "town council" made up of elected children who were responsible for making important decisions and settling disputes.
