There are a great variety in mangoes and each variety has its own taste. What grows in our garden are normally eaten when they are ripe but I also make ice cream, jam and juice. Some mangoes can also be cooked. I am not fond of pickle but most mangoes when they are unripe can be used to make pickle.

I have a small mango orchard in my farm house, we have over a dozen varieties of mangoes. We even sell mangoes and make money. Every year we plant a new mango tree.

We have four varieties and normally we distribute them among neighbours, family and friends and consume too

We also distribute to friends, family, and neighbors but in a place where everyone has mango trees you will have a lot of surplus fruits, so we sell them.

We sell other things that grow in our garden coconuts, areca nuts, pepper and jack fruits. Soemtimes we have trouble selling jack fruits some get to the compost pits, sadly. I must try and get a regular guy who buys them this season. I do not see them though May be this odd weather has delayed their appearance.

Mangoes are my favorite and I haven't found anyone that doesn't like Mangoes. I love to prepare mango shake too and it's my go to drink in summers when mangoes are easily available and are mostly sweet.
