This is a healthy snack that can be had at breakfast time. Different types flour - wheat, rice, maida,gram flour and semolina is all kneaded adding water, sugar, salt, chopped green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, scraped coconut, a touch of cummin seads and finely chopped onion.
The dough is flalttened around half inch thick and around 6" diameter. It is then roasted on banana leaves on a dry pan.
