Paid Posting Vs. Free Posting

Do you pay people to post on your forums or do you have members who post on the forums voluntarily. I do not have any volunteer posters on my forums, therefore, I frequently hire people to post on my forum and sometimes I also buy posting packages to drive activities on my forum.

I don't get the point of paying for posts..

It's generally quite easy to tell when someone is being paid to create content - and it's not a good look.

I would rather sit on my forum stay active myself and wait on members to join could take months, years to get a forum active but it's worth it in the end.. and it's free.

Paid posting - They post the "X" amount of posts and you won't see the person again until you pay for another service.

I don't mind paid posting, but it would need to be for the long-term. Otherwise, it seems forced and fake.

And as for post exchanges, the same idea is true.

I don't have a forum yet, but should I start one in the future, I might engage the services of paid posting in order to start up contents that will attract members to the forum and also engage them. It will be difficult for new members to be active on a forum that is not active.
