I created a memory visiting St Marks Square, Venice, Italy on my tour of Europe a few years ago.

Apart from the music that one hears round the clock it was the pigeons that one could see there - countless of them. They came to me and sat on my shoulder and took feed from my hand

Sadly there are reports that pigeons are banned there now.
