One of the major advantage a TV series has over movies is it's run time. Due to it's long run time, it gives characters more time to build and grow, helping the audience better understand and relate with a particular character. Due to the short runtime of most movies, some of the character development seem abit rushed.
I actually appreciate that too about tv series. And also, I have hard time focusing mainly on work so while I work I watch tv series. Its been something I have been doing for years.
