What do people think of the Spongebob movies?

I really enjoyed the first. It had a similar vibe as the early TV series, which I enjoyed a lot as a kid (even now, I can go back and watch it and think, that's creative fun animation). The second film was bad enough that I didn't watch the third.

I enjoyed the stupid comedy. Not something I would watch frequently, even with my young nieces and nephews. Liked the show growing up, and then I just stopped enjoying the comedy of it, after I realized I was for more serious stuff.
