Despite all the planning one does with tour conductors there are disappointments. Here are a few

-We missed the Tulip season by a mere 15 days in Amsterdam

- When we visited Rome and the Basilica the Pope was out of the country

- Harrods was closed in London as we reached there on a Sunday
