Myself, I like ProSilver French edition and use it for my religious forum.

I can't explain why I like it. Well, the gray is easy on the eyes and the whole layout is not cluttered.

And Proflat seems to be very similar and I also like it.

Well, what are your criteria for deciding which phpBB theme you like? Would you use a style changer for people who want something else? Would you buy a premium theme to get what you want?

I have used this before and it looks cool with a colored banner because the contrast with the grey is weird and interesting.

Yeah that's a good one. It doesn't fit what I want for a website at the moment, but I have used it before. It's very uncluttered and has a good color scheme.
