What difficulty setting? (Easy, Normal, Hard)

What difficulty setting do you prefer to play on? Do you play on easy, normal, or hard mode?

Easy and normal are the setting I play with.

What difficulty setting do you prefer to play on? Do you play on easy, normal, or hard mode?

I will always do hard mode at first for about twenty minutes and struggle through it at first. Then I will set it to easy, find it really easy, and have loads of confidence playing through the game because I already did the hard mode setting.

Usually Normal, although, if I begin to find this too easy, then I graduate to Hard mode. (For example, I play FTL: Faster than Light exclusively on Hard)

If it is my first time playing a video game then I will start on normal. After one playthrough if I feel like playing the game again and want more of a challenge I will go up to hard or even insane or legendary difficulty.
