When did you first start using the internet?

I remember the first time I was allowed to have internet in my bedroom was when I was 13 years old, that would have been around 1999 when we had dial-up, it was a little after that I talked my dad into getting broadband in which the internet was on all the time without the need for a phone line.

It was not called the Internet, but I ran a BBS System for the Zenith User Group in Portland, OR from a Zenith Z80 Computer running CP/M Operating System over a 300 Baud Dial Up Modem. You can't imagine how slow it was.

It was in 2001. We did not have internet at home and I had to go to a cyber cafe. It was so expensive that I did not use internet on a regular basis until 2003

Probably around 2004. Now I can't miss an hour of browsing forums.
Internet is a good thing.
