I always wonder how wrestlers manage their anxiety, especially before the match!
I have a friend, who is a professional boxer and he is always anxious on what would happen to his health, face, injuries while in the wrestling ground. I asked him how we manages his anxiety and he replied that he hardly manages his anxiety because anxiety helps build anger which is a critical component in wrestling matches.
What are your experiences?
