Child's Play franchise

Child's Play is a horror movie franchise that has been around for over 30 years, with the first movie released in 1988. The series revolves around a doll named Chucky, who is possessed by the spirit of a serial killer. With eight movies in the franchise so far, it's safe to say that Chucky has become a pop culture icon.

I think the idea of a killer doll is terrifying, and the first movie did an excellent job of building suspense and delivering some genuinely scary moments. But on the other hand, some of the later movies in the series felt like they were relying too heavily on camp and comedy.

I think that the franchise has had it's ups and downs, but overall, it's an entertaining series that has given us some memorable moments. I'm curious to hear what other horror fans think about the Child's Play franchise. What are your favorite and least favorite movies in the series? Do you think that Chucky is still a relevant horror icon in 2023?

I enjoyed the first 3 immensely. I didn't really like the rest of the movies because they seemed random and off the wall.
