Costly concerts

Do you think concerts are becoming costly these days?

I am in the affirmative mainly because of people who attempt to resell their tickets. For a recent Coldplay concert many people bought tickets in advance and sold them at the last minute to people who really want them for 20 times the price! Unfortunately, original tickets are unable to stop them and ticket resale platforms dont want to stop them either.

Any other factors do you think contributes to the rising cost of concert tickets?

This is exactly why I have gone to very few concerts all my life. The prices are simply ridiculous when you will practically be standing all through the performance. I'd rather sit at the comfort of my home and watch it life.
