Cricket is a very popular sport in Asia and Africa, and it’s also gaining popularity in the US and Canada. Originally introduced by the British, the sport remains quite popular in England, Ireland, and even in Canada.

Do you follow cricket?

Africa you say? What part? Because I for one don't know how cricket games work. I have tried to understand but it keeps evading me.

Cricket? Nope.. it's boring would rather watch paint dry.
Football is a bigger sport. :)

I don't know much about it due to my nationality, but I'd like to at least try a video game version.

Yes Zimbabwe, South Africa both are actively participating in all International events and Kenya used to be part but these days they are not qualifying the Interns events.

You can ask me anything you like to know about cricket.

I used to follow cricket but these days I don't have time to watch cricket, it is a long game, even the T20 takes 4-5 hours to complete.

If you are interested and understand the game then you can spare time, I even watch test cricket which is slow and scheduled to play for 5 days. I think these days Nepal's premier league is also running.

I used to like playing it at school, but it's certainly not a sport that I'd choose to sit down and watch.

I know it can be a little technical but once you are aware of the rules, you will love it

Well, Scotland has an International team that always participates in ICC Cricket events, and the last I saw them doing a fine job in T20 World cup that was played in Caribbean and North America.

For those that don't follow cricket, they should start by watching T20 cricket. It's the shortest format of cricket and quite entertaining and fast paced.
