What happens to the e-waste that you generate at your home?

In my case, its mostly gadgets and wires. In case of wires, I just redistribute them across family and friends since many of them will be wanting charging cables and adapters. As far as gadgets are concerned, I always make it a point to exchange them when I buy the new product.

As usual, there are always some legacy e-waste, which I have no idea what to do!
