We have enough food in the US to feed everyone in other countries but we don't? Why? Kids are dying every day.

Because of the politicians. Africa is used for experimentation on people with different viruses because nobody givse a fuck from developed countries. In the same way people are not aware that in China (women) are forced to have abortion if they don't fit the standard it is expected of them. It's a crazy world we are living in.

My wife and I were discussing this the other day.

There really is no excuse why anyone if hungry in this world. If we're throwing away food because they forgot to put "made with milk" on the package, but children in third-world countries are dying from starvation, then something is really wrong here.

We need a better system and better people who run that system.

I agree but I guess India has more food that can feed the world plus the resources and fertile land but these dirty politicians won't make this possible.

I really feel it's the fault of parents to a large degree. They're supposed to go the extra mile for the kids and make a way somehow. I wonder how many are. I mean, excuses are a dime a dozen.

And how many stories of child abuse can you find on YouTube even from this one channel (AFC podcast (not to be confused with American football))?

It's just like there's enough food in New Zealand to give to everyone here but a lot of it gets thrown out and there's a lot of children going hungry.

So annoying!

Government should be doing more here.

We've got shops that can sell stuff that the supermarkets can't such as stuff past it's best before (but not use by) as a lot of stuff is still good past it's best before especially canned goods.

Well, I think businesses should do their part, but it doesn't excuse parents who aren't stepping up to the plate to help their kids.

Too much government support here under welfare and the benefit system so parents rely on the government to feed their kids which pisses me off. If they are going to have kids they need to feed them.

Doesn't help that generation after generation are living on our welfare system. They get free money weekly.

I agree. We cannot blame government all the time and there are people who are just relying on the government schemes and don't like to work for money.
