We have enough food in the US to feed everyone in other countries but we don't? Why? Kids are dying every day.

There really is no excuse why anyone if hungry in this world. If we're throwing away food because they forgot to put "made with milk" on the package, but children in third-world countries are dying from starvation, then something is really wrong here.
We need a better system and better people who run that system.
Well, I think businesses should do their part, but it doesn't excuse parents who aren't stepping up to the plate to help their kids. It's just like there's enough food in New Zealand to give to everyone here but a lot of it gets thrown out and there's a lot of children going hungry.
So annoying!
Government should be doing more here.
We've got shops that can sell stuff that the supermarkets can't such as stuff past it's best before (but not use by) as a lot of stuff is still good past it's best before especially canned goods.
Too much government support here under welfare and the benefit system so parents rely on the government to feed their kids which pisses me off. If they are going to have kids they need to feed them.Well, I think businesses should do their part, but it doesn't excuse parents who aren't stepping up to the plate to help their kids.
