One thing that makes travel so wonderful

The first time I heard people talk about traveling as a thing they liked, I really didn't quit understand why. Imagine sitting for hours just to get to a particular destination. Later on I came to understand what makes traveling so wonderful is not really about hours you spend on the road or whatever means of transportation you move with, it's more about the culture you experience along the way and when you finally get there. The different traditions of the people there, their style of food, dressing, the new places and so on. This is what makes travel so wonderful.
