What's your favorite Mario Game?

Mario has been around for almost 4 decades at this point, and he's starred in numerous games. Which Mario game is your favorite and why? Also did you know he used to be called "Jump Man" and was a villain in Donkey Kong! Anyways my favorite 2D mario game has to be Super Mario Land on the Gameboy. Super Mario Bros 3 comes in very close though. As for 3D the only ones I've played are Super Mario 64 and a bit of Odyssey and I enjoyed both of them so I can't really pick one over the other. SM64 was revolutionary when it was released.

I always like Super Mario Bros 3 simply for all the cool suits you could wear. I remember fighting over who would claim the mushroom houses too XD

hehe I played the original Mario on the old school Nintendo. I could never beat it, even when cheating. I stopped playinng it. lol

I always loved Mario Kart. Mario Kart 64 is my personal favorite as it was what we grew up on, but all of them are pretty good.

Never played it myself. The N64 was my first console as a kid before that I had one friend with a Sega Genisis (who hated racing games lol) and my grandparents had a Nintendo that had Mario Bros and Duck Hunt.
