It's a great blogging platform that can work as a CMS if stretched, but depending on purpose it feels either too bloated or lacking in features, there doesn't seem to be a happy medium for it, lol
It's a really fun, unique website-builder. I've seen some really neat codes and tweaks to it, from online stores to blogs it's, to even a proper social network (within reasons).
Among others, Weebly is solid, but it's hosting on their server only AND you have to pay for hosting anyways if you want a domain. It didn't used to be that way, you could slap on a domain from GoDaddy and you'd be swell. It might not be a deal breaker for you. If I didn't need other software hosted already, it might not have been for me either.
SquareSpace is good, but I'd argue isn't worth it's cost.
Any time I have had a blog, I have always used WordPress, it is a great piece of software that does more than just blogs and it has so many addons to allow you to do so much with it that the possibilities are endless. Definitely my favorite software for blogs at the moment.
