He had a lot to lose. Of course, I'm not saying the privilege wasn't all undeserved. He appears to be very intelligent. I mean, look at his probable resume.

Mangione graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020.

He achieved a Bachelor of Science in engineering with a major in computer science and a minor in mathematics. He also received a Master of Science in engineering the same year with a major in computer and information science, a university spokesperson told Business Insider.

Anyway, the corrupt medical industry is very unpopular I'm sure, and it's different to see someone rich that is willing to die (death penalty maybe?) I mean, look at all draft dodging (or soft military position taking) rich people who support war.

But, of course, I'm not praising what he did.

He was privileged sure, but now he’ll be serving time in prison for murder.

His background is kind of irrelevant especially considering what he did.

The health care system is screwed in various ways, but it doesn’t justify what he did.

A lot of these rich alpha types are out of touch with reality. They don't understand there are real consequences to actions. I guess it's a way of being spoiled.

Sure can but these politicians do not care about who claim they are denying either. A lot of people on social media are calling this guy a hero. they are saying the CEO was part of the problem.
Apparently, 4 in 10 young American adults like Luigi.

I have the healthcare coverage that the murdered CEO was over.

It's horrible coverage. I try to be healthy and, to be honest, will do alternative health before I go to the DR; that's just me.

But none of that is an excuse to take someone's life.

He is trying to get America behind his grizzly actions. I see that every time a new camera gets put on him. I bet he thought they could and that Americans would break him out.

Now he'll realize he ruined his life and that no one is behind him enough to stop his newfound fate.

Well, health insurance is a business based on risk, and risk goes way up considering the unhealthy food sold, but Luigi gave no attention to that industry. But, of course, the murder Luigi did is not justified, and apparently he is saying he didn't do it. What's his story of what happened?

I have no issue hearing that some garbage person has been killed. What you sow is what you reap. That's how the world works. It is interesting how people tend to say: I don't justify what he did but xyz. Nobody is like: That rich dude this so much harm to many families and nobody cares. However, I do know for a fact people glorify the killer, which is something I can understand. When justice system fails, somebody else will do it.

Some American right-wingers are saying illegals are overloading emergency rooms etc. in that case, was it the CEO's fault? What proof is there that the CEO was a scumbag other than stuff people want to believe?

If the military commits war crimes, whos fault is that? Of general, is it not? He is the leader, he controls those bellow him. It is his sole responsibility. Who answers for the crimes of war? Those in charge, those in power. I use this analogy to make you understand that just because someone is CEO, that doesn't make him less guilty, he should be more aware of the doing down there.

I'm not fan of the medical or food industry, but if the medical industry is overloaded with freeloaders, then of course, it's going to hurt others, and from personal experience, I've noticed care has gotten way less generous than from some years back, like even around 2021.

Agree, so sad. People/doctors and nurses treat me as a drug seeker. 😭

I wonder why the government is unable to reign in the prices of these medical drugs and devices industries.

One of the most important step towards delivering an affordable health care solution is that the prices of such commodities must be capped like what they do in the East. As the healthcare burden increase, the health care budget donot cope up with it, resulting in private insurance taking over.

Additionally, giving publicly funded insurance to private sector is not only a means to leak money but also to shake of the responsibility of the state.
