Who has tried to write fictional stories using AI?

In fact, you can write as good as Stephen King with it! Anyway, though, there is an aura of fakeness, but one way around it might be using the AI for inspiration, but not really copying it all the way. Do you feel that is still fake?

It is totally fake. Even a kid that reads it can tell it is not human content. AI can be used to brainstorm ideas, but not to take over the human work completely.

I did attempt to write a historical fiction once. But I went off in all directions, I did the research required but lacked the discipline to stick to my story line. At least I had fun writing the thing. No A1 was involved....
